| Sample Data
We are supplying a 100km square area from south-west Scotland
as sample data. This covers Islay, Kintye and most of Jura
and Arran. The data is delivered as four 16bit raw binary
files of 500 x 500 sample points each with a 100 metre grid
point spacing. There are no overlapping rows or columns (i.e.
tiles do not overlap). Each tile is named according to the
Easting and Northing of the south west corner.
The sample
data is supplied with a free utility to load a set of
four tiles and generate a terragan terrain file. There are
numerous other free, shareware and commercial programs available
that can read and manipulate 16bit raw files - we would suggest
our own Landformer Pro
as a low cost option.
